James Bachman (b. February 24, 1972 in Cuckfield, Suffolk) is an English writer and comedian who portrays Jeff Holcorn (a.k.a. Dominator) in Moss and the German, the third episode of the second series of The IT Crowd. James is credited as a writer for such TV programmes as That Mitchell and Webb Look, Popetown and Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. His acting credits include Saxondale, That Mitchell and Webb Look, The Mighty Boosh, The IT Crowd and the CBBC children's programme, Sorry I've Got No Head.
He has also appeared in the radio comedy Bleak Expectations as Harry Biscuit and recorded a pilot for BBC Radio 4 comedy Zoom alongside Mark Evans. James was also the vice-president of Footlights when he attended Cambridge University.
